About Our School

           Education is an  essential part of our lives. We are nothing without  knowledge, and education is what separates us from others. The main step to acquire education is enrolling oneself in a school. School serves as the first learing place for most of the people. Similarly, it is the first spark in receiving an education. The school is the second home of the students where they spend most of their time. Above all it gives the children platform to do better in life and also builds the personality. Similarly shree jivanoddhar secondary school is also one of the best school in Gulmi district. It is situated on the bank of Kaligandaki river and also by the holy temple radhakrishna.it lies in the market area of ward no  4 of Kaligandaki  rural municipality in the far eastern part of the Gulmi district under the province no 5. The peincipal of the school is Mr. Prem Bahadur Thapa. It was established in the year 2009 B.S. There are about 500 students and 24 teachers. All the teachers are well educated and are devoted to their duties and have a good teaching skills.

          There are two concrete  buildings having two floors in one and three floors in other and rest are separated rooms covered with tin. The classes are running from class KG to class 12. The teachers are divided in different level according to their post. The classrooms are well furnished and ventilated. There is a separate room for the principal and the staff. There is a science lab, a library and a computer lab where the students are facilitated with service as per their needs. There  has a playground where the students get chance to play different types of games that they like. The library has well stocked useful books so that the students are enjoyed reading different types of books that they like. The science lab is well equipped where the students visit as it is needed. About 15 computers are available in a computer lab. There are separate toilets for girls and boys. The school provides clean drinking water to every students. The school provides highly educated and experienced teachers at 10+2 level with two faculties ; education and management. There is a province of distributing  Khaja for primary level students provided by the government.

          The Principal and teachers of this school take personal care of the individual students as a philosopher and guide. As a result, it makes bond between the two and it is easy to communicate between them. The students are encouraged in participating different extra curricular activities beside their study. The hardworking staff gives time to each child to grow at their own pace which instills confidence in them.

          The school annual function and the prize giving ceremony holds every year. The Saraswoti Puja, indendence day, Republic Day is also celebrated every year with great enthusiasm. There is CCTV joined in a few classes so the teachers can have a look the classroom's activities done by students. Students are also well disciplined and hardworking which make the teachers feel comfortable in their teaching.

          To conclude however the school has some problems it is being more curious to make it the best school in the country.
